Ahhh, Healdsburg.  You hold a special place in so many hearts.  Beautiful, quaint, modern and vibrant.  That is Healdsburg. 

I was fortunate to photograph a lovely wedding day in this northern Sonoma County town last weekend.  It was a very warm summer day, the kind of day that you know will just be memorable.  

The couple is one of those couples that only have eyes for one another.  Meeting in December 2012, these two knew that they were meant to marry.  So, marry they did.  In style, as evidenced by the brides stunning dress.

We enjoyed a relaxed morning at the H2Hotel full of bridesmaids, friends and a few selfies for good measure :)

Window light and a beautiful bride makes me happy :)

Although I just met the groom for the first time on his wedding day (which is extremly rare with my clients), I felt like we had known each other for a long time.  He is so personal, funny and welcoming. 

C + S opted for a first look prior to their wedding ceremony.  I adore first looks - it is a special quiet moment for the soon to be married.  Typically it allows for a better photography timeline and enhanced time for couple portraits.  I do encourage my brides to add new elements to their wedding dress prior to their ceremony, in C's case she opted to add her veil and gloves for an updated look while walking down the isle.  And, seriously, how sweet are these photos of the two of them?

The bridal party was very cooperative and supportive of the bride and groom - just like a bridal party should be, they made my job so easy :)
